Charged Auto Show in Anaheim

As the EV scene continues to grow, more and more awesome venues and meet opportunities are emerging. Back in May, we attended the first (of hopefully many) Charged EV show put on by Auto Owners of America which took place at the Anaheim Gardenwalk.

Just a few of the cars that showed up for the Charged EV Show by Auto Owners of America.

Since this was the first show, nobody quite knew what to expect. Turned out to be a blast and super well organized, not to mention run by enthusiastic and pleasant people. Tesla Club SoCal members showed up along with collection of parts vendors and other EV owners.

The crowd favorites (other than the free raffle tickets and many prizes) was the Lucid Air Grand Touring and the Rivian R1T parked happily within a sea of Teslas and a Mustang Mache E. For many, this was the first time being able to see, sit in, and interact with the impressive Lucid and Rivian offerings. Here's to hoping there will be more and more of them attending EV events.

No meet up with a ton of Teslas would be complete without a synced up light show. Since the Charged EV show was in an underground garage, the light show was particularly loud and bright. If you wonder what that looks like, you are in luck as we captured it for your viewing pleasure.

All in all a great event. evtuners will definitely plan to hit up the next Charged EV event. In the meantime, everyone is very active on social media so swing by and check out what is next!
